life goes on

LIFE GOES ON
It’s six o’clock in the morning,
I wake up, to listen I hear roars of a female eagle
Like it wants to peck on me
Sometimes it forgets that not every thing that comes
Its way is chicken or fish.
Feeling like it’s a dream, thinking!
Can’t figure it out, time is speeding
I need to catch it
The world is moving too fast
I can’t control it
Am running around in my own Lolo circles
I need to be warm
The world is so cold
AM freezing, am crying
I can’t wipe
I feel my tears rolling inside me to my stomach
My soul and heart are soaked wet
All I need is rain
To shower me and wet me with love
Take me and lift me up
My wounds will heal
Be the sunshine that will dry my soaked spirits
To give me reasons for breathing
So I can live again
And open up my eyes so I can see the light of day
That brings tomorrow.
Life Goes on And on
I have to smile.
How hard is it to smile
How good does it feel like?
What does it cost to smile?

Smile at me
So I can feel the comfort in your smile
Teach me how
So I can know how hard it is
Smile at me.
Let me see the beauty in a smile
Smile at me so I can feel what the earth feels
When heaven smiles
The horizon of the earth smiles
When the skies open
It showers and fills me with joy as i watch.
How beautiful the sun is
A smile that makes me feel what is felt when it showers
In the wilderness
A genuine one that is hard to find on many faces
You fill me with life
And give me reasons for my breath
When you smile at me
What many do in pretence
